It's on tonight !!

Turky sent the SUCCUBUS !!!

I must say the stage is amazing this year, has anyone over there ever heard about the contest ? Is it well known ? Is it a yearly anecdote at the end of the news or is it covered in depth ???

peace

I just saw that the UK got no votes at all, the BBC said it could have been a political statement by the rest of Europe due to Iraq. Then when I heard the track and the fact that blonde girl could not sing and thought maybe this year we should have had minus points :D

The Eurovision Song Contest is a compettion for unsigned (I believe they are flexible on this) artists to throwdown and the whole of Europe votes on the best one - it goes on all night and is really funny..

Sr Hadden, did you check Austria, that guy had my dance-moves down, :D

That was definitely not a political statement. The girl could not hit a single note, but had a fine *##.

Those belgian cats were crazy. They used some kind of artficial language like Esperanto for their lyrics.

We laughed the whole evening about that thing.

Did you see Romania? With that hilarious DJ? Unbelieveable that they got so high with a bad song like that.
Sounded like Happy Hadcore from the early nineties done in an even cheaper way.

Peace,

Gerd

Wogan was hilarious. "What is the Eurosong song contest? It is a masterpiece of post-modern irony or is it a piece of kitsch"

The hosts were awful.

I was really hoping that Slovenia would not get a single vote, with all the fine women we have sending an overweight, middle-aged entry.

I voted for greece and Austria

highlights for me were:

- I laughed when the girl who presented the whole evening really messed up with the score... having to start over all again.
- Austria's dance moves were hot ... whiiiuww.
- Romania: i couldn't figure out what the link was between that crappy act and the lyrics or music of the song.
- UK singing out of key...
- Russia sent T.A.T.U. or wathever those girls are called.
- Every country was televoting, except Russia (because of the different time zones...)
- immediate links between 'politics' and 'music' --> it was televoting, come-oononn

it was a nice graemlins/all_coholic.gif graemlins/all_coholic.gif evening.
