Tried it last week. It was the bomb. The breast was falling off the bone. And the broiler chared the chicken just like it was suppose to do. Went and got that Walkerswood which is a good marinade. Didn't try the molasses though; thought it would make the chicken to sweet.

folks think this, but it is not so...what it does is cut some of that heat and gives it that authentic caribbean taste...you still have the heat.

That's that sweet mango tasting garbage...that's not really jerk.

You gotta have spices to have jerk...

They do sell um in the spices/rubs section of the grocer...it's more like a liquid maranade.

I'm talking more like a mild than a hot a hell jerk recipe.

jerk should be hot...

however, there is a great brand of non-spicy Jerk seasoning that would do the trick...it maybe hard to find if you are not in a Caribbean area...it's called Aunt May No Pepper seasoning....I find this brand is awesome and will probably do the trick for you.

great with fish...

you may want to ask your store to carry it....

If you make your own sauce or rubat $1.99 - $3.99 a bottle for Walkerswood or any of the other jerk seasoings, which are very good, I never ever saw the reason to do this....
