This i have to say first... Tyrone you have the best kept secret in NYC. 667 is the sweet glaze you lick off your fingers after the treat. Its such a great place to work out your mid-week blues. The people as always come from all over to party in a smoke free environment. Thank God for that! The a/c keeps your head cool, and the music makes you reach for you hand towel. In this night of great music DJ Stacey Mallory from 43rd St. Cafe in NJ blessed the decks and played from the heart. Brooklyn is the hardest group of people to play for. while outside taking a break two of the people came out and started to talk about Stacey's playing. " Yo i cant dance to this corney sh*t" one of the brothers said.
And then i thought that maybe Stacey was in trouble.
But in 10 minutes the same brother was back inside standing around looking bothered. When Stacey pulled out the stops and before long gained the respect of everyone in 667. And the brother who could'nt dance to the corney sh*t found his self pulling out his hand towel to dry his brow. Stacey did his thang! As we knew he would! Stacey keep it up bro, and dont forget its the people that we play for. Love goes out to : Stacey Mallory, DJ Camacho, Tyrone, Donna, and the entire crew @ 667.
Peace! DJ Aziz aziz@house-callz.com hail.gif

Stacey Mallory very energetic and soulful set on a slightly humid but otherwise good night for a party.
Aziz great meeting you and look forward to attending your party.
As always, peace to Kayo, Donna, Tyrone and the party people at BKNY for a hot night of dancing.
Peace

I dont' know - a lot of that stuff I heard at the Shelter all winter. Not taking anything away from the set. Most of it was just familiar to me. With the exception of that first track... I need an ID.
