Years ago, when I was first starting out, I was hooking up with a couple of guys to do parties as a group. This was when I was in High School. sophmore 1989. My boys wanted me to come with them to do a party, I couldn't go, pops was trippin. They came by to pick up my tables, and a couple of crates of my alternative/industrial records, my choice shit. I had original 12 inch pressings and Razormaid records, by now those 2 crates together would have fetched more than a few thousand bucks.

Party was raided by the PO PO and everyone else taken in for under age drinking and for contributing to under age drinking. Conveniently, somebody left the door open to the house and the local gang knew about this. One of the DJ's that I had hooked up with was related to the local gang leader, they took all the shit and to this day I have never seen my stuff again.
I will never forget that guy, his name is DJ Notorious NINO. He developed a reputation for screwing over other DJ's by burning them with money and stealing their record and their girlfriends, No Lie!!!

He ended up hiring some of his biggest friends for body guards for a few years. I have never seen him again, until he started popping up here and there DJing at some parties lately. I'm afraid if I was to ever see him again, I would probably kill him.

I am trying to be beyond that. Trying.

yeah, minor ones...like everytime i check satellite and order a record listed as "in stock" only to get an email 5 days later telling me that it's "out of stock."

....If you think thats some rough shit, Try buying your own vinyl from a store where someone sold them. Even more tripped out, The owner of the store knows me. He was kinda looking out for me because some of them had my name on them so he thought he would just grab em' before they got away........I still had to pay something though.

I too have had that panic attack. I usually tear up everything, and get numerous paper cuts from the inside of the circle on the record cover. My girl tries to calm me down, reminding me that it couldn't have got up and walked out.
