"He said, 'We can't have acquittals,' " Davis said under questioning from Navy Lt. Cmdr. Brian Mizer, the military counsel who represents Hamdan. " 'We've been holding these guys for years. How can we explain acquittals? We have to have convictions.' "

When we come to our senses we will see according to the Nuremberg trials that we have become a nation of war criminals and we wont even have the sorry excuse that we didn't know.

Ha! Ha! Yup. Despite the magnitude of the scathing indictments against the Bush adminstration, it hasn't swayed procedure at all.

In Rumsfeld v. Hamdan, the SCOTUS ruling was affirmatively clear, and yet, Gitmo has enacted on anything.

And, of course we all know what the Bush admin did to Lt. Cmdr Charles Swift..... they fired his ass after his victory in Hamdan.

Hilarious!
