What's the name of the company that does the music for the GAP...

Working at the GAP - I always tried to find out - they just send cd's to the store with various artist - not even listed.

It's not a company, it was my friend for a while till he changed duties. He still works at GAP corporate. No I will not pass along any music to him if that's what people wanted! And yes I did hip him to deep house. I also advised him to book LLV at the GAP Christmas party at Rockerfeller Center rather than Fatboy Slim (yuck). And yes I got to go and drink hot chocolate and ice skate while LLV dropped the classics!

a couple years back i was out shopping. they were playing some really cool disco mixes. i found out that there is a subsciption service that provides music for stores and elevators. i think the name of the company is Muzak.

theyve got earth wind & fire on one of their commercials now. anytime i walk through a gap store im usually surprised to hear some descent dance music bumpin.

tc Muzak has come a long way from their penchant for doing "elevator music/beautiful music"....they do a much better job of programming music than these corporate radio stations...
