just found out these have been repressed! I heard this, what's strange is they all got repressed last year, (or was it 2001?), with the exception of KDJ30, which is dope btw.

There are four different pressings of 'Shades Of Jae'. Even though this 12" is out of print, it is not deleted. It has been repressed at least 4 times.

This is the original pressing with KDJ 21a on the a-side (the long version of 'Shades Of Jae' and the bonus beats version) and the track 'The Set Up' (also re-released on the 'Forevernevermore 2LP/CD on Peacefrog) on the flip.

one track is a stripped down version of 'telephone blue's b-side on peacefrog; the peacefrog release has a piano playing on top of the track, that the kdj misses.

Thanks Jurren - I think Stephen went by other people's info a bit, so I'm not 100% sure that it's all there. I should check when I get home to see if I have the "Set Up" on KDJ21. I'd have thought I bought the 1st press, if anything. I'll check the flip to "Telephone Blue", too. I think I might have heard him play the version you describe.

don't think the represses are going to happen. Unless he is dealing with another distriubtoe. After receiving an e-mail that the tiltes would be available I got this response the next day:

i have some bad news about the kenny dixon titles . we got in contact with him this week and he declined our purchase order for these titles . so we will not be getting any stock from him anytime soon . so if you want me to add anything to the order please hit me back a.s.a.p .

23a2: different version of "Your Sweet Lovin" (PF095c1)
23b: ??? (does not appear anywhere else, to my knowledge...)
