Seems like Montreal has a rich history of being inspired to do great things by Philadelphia's domination of the game...but I'm not talking about baseball!

Man.... my team... haven't been following much from where I am, but I'm glad to see they're hanging on. Are they leaving the city next year?

Still shaking my head at the 1994 strike when we were number 1 in August, 6 games ahead of the Braves graemlins/jpshakehead.gif

I'm glad they won. Gives the Dodgers a better chance to move up even though we lost last night. :(

Portland is a strong possibility because the Oregon legislature just adopted a bill to fund a new stadium. The saga continues the dream continues.

I remember the plans for the new stadium downtown MTL... man, those plans made us dream for a while, I really digged it. On the other hand, people had bad memories of the financial burden of the Olympic Stadium so....
