That the people that you have actually met through this page are now people that you kick it with sometimes? Have the encounters that you've had with the people from the page been overall positive or negative? Not the people that you knew before the page but people that you've met as a result of DHP. So far the people that I've met have been cool.

Yeah, most of the cats that I meet seemingly are cool. However, GU said something to a couple of dudes this weekend and they seemingly didnt show me any cool spirit...and I didnt return it.....ITS COOL, I dont like meeting dudes anyway....

For the most part though they've been cool, cant remember the dude I met going down the stairs at the Distric but he seemed cool as he seen me and this Black beauty going at it face to face.....she telling me to set it off!.....

I bout lost my head....talking strong and dead in my face......as I looked over her shoulder and down her spine....... :D

I haven't met a whole lot of people from the page face-to-face because I'm only allowed out of my hole once a year six weeks before spring. However, those I've met, including ToeKnee, Timmy, liL Ray, Sammy Rock, Shalewa, Maria, Uplift and, of course, J-Lennie, have all been great.

I'd like to specially acknowledge ToeKnee, who has come to my musical rescue on more than one occasion, always making time for me and seeing projects through. Hang in there with me, brother. I'll get that compilation out yet.

Also, big hugs to David Mancuso and Mike Barnes, both of whom stepped up with vital and valuable info at the mere drop of a request (Mike put me in touch with ToeKnee).

I'm looking forward to meeting more of you when TAC sends a car for me for the next DHP-NY shin-dig (yeah, I heard ya).

i have actually only met about 3 people that post on the DHP and we don't hang out, though i wouldn't mind hanging out.
i do know quite a few more than that who post here, at least on ocassions.

i feel like a lot of people that post on DHP don't really share a lot of the same interests as i do.
this is probably why it's hard for me to relate to a lot of people on here outside of the obvious love of dance music.

As I am UK based most people are outta limits for me, when i head to London next, I may meet a coupla posters there. i ave had other experiance meeting UK heads from another board, and there have been nothing but cool people, who I'd like to see more of.

the truly great thing about places like this, is preconceptions are more or less overthrown everytime, and that you cannot judge people on appearance, that is a good thing.

I can't say that I have incorporated anyone into my daily life but I see people on the train, at parties etc; and we always aknowledge each other have a brief chat or whatever. When I see someone with a DHP t-shirt on I always go up to them and introduce my self. There are a lot of peeps on the board that I knew before DHP and we actually chat through the message board until we see each other again.

hee hee, jk. So far I've met one person, and luckily he's cool. I hope to meet the L.A. DHP heads this summer! And, when I return to the 'burgh, yinz too. :D

I anticipate meeting DHP heads in LA - I haven't been quite proactive in this area.

NYC heads were quite instrumental in Bold Soul's progress. I still recall warm memories of a blustery winter night in January - screening house packed with cinephiles.

Chicago is my hometown, so go figure.

A certain Toronto head is quite important.

Hk! Hk, I just showed this to my girlfriend, she says it is definately me, as that's the kinda thing I'd do, but I cannot remember, (this is odd, as I usually have an elephants memory). I am in manchester, and would hook up with anyone here at the drop of a hat, for some reason I cannot remember (jeez that sounds bad), maybe the Hk is throwing me, did you call under another name.
I am gonna lose sleep, but thanks for the kind words, I class myself a human, and it seems that came across.

i enjoyed meeting dhp heads back in december at the nyc party back in december. i must say timmy is one of the nicest and most down to earth person's you could ever meet ( though we did not talk much, i was high as a kite :D ). thank you once again for letting me pass out those david harness CD release flyers.

ray, me jamaicam bro, what can i say, your food was da bomb!

...and of course i severely enjoyed the music played by timmy, cheddi and herb.

i eagerly await the next party and the oppurtunity to meet more dhp'ers.

that is a really big misconception that people have about me.
i am not a player at all. i just happen to get along with, and respect women very much.
this has a lot to do with my all female upbringing. i am the youngest of 3. there was my mom, grandma, and two older sisters.
i just happen to be a little more in touch with my feminine side than most men are because of this. so naturally i can relate to and make women feel more at ease around me than most guys do.
i have always just loved the company of women.
i feel more comfortable getting in deep conversations with woman than i do with men.

i once said in a past thread that i laugh when my friends tell me they don't want to bring women they are dating or are interested in around me.
it'scuz they know that i can relate to their girls more than they do, and they are scared i'm gonna steal them away.
hey, it ain't my fault they don't know how to make their women feel good and i do.
