(sigh)

I love Loose Ends. Good memories around their music.

I read somewhere that Carl Mcintosh was to have a new CD in 2000 but I don't think it got released.

He and Jane Eugene also did Take Your Time on Pete Rock's CD back in '99.

I also just found out that he did production on Laurnea's 2nd CD (which I didn't even know existed) released in Japan.

...So in 1981, the band changed producers and enlisted James Carmichael for their third album, Radiance. It was a wise move; Radiance and its hit single "When Love Calls" established Atlantic Starr as a supergroup in the R&B market. It was on Radiance that the charismatic Bryant (who was featured on "When Love Calls") really blossomed as a singer and her lead vocals played a major role in the band's success. Carmichael went on to produce 1982's "Brilliance" (which contained the number two R&B single "Circles") and 1983's Yours Forever; the latter includes "Touch a Four Leaf Clover," another major hit featuring Bryant.

Bryant lefy in 84 and Weathers was hired as replacement in 1985 blowing up Secret Lovers and Always...

Here's a link that's pretty informative about Loose Ends. Truly an amazing group.

Loose Ends (http://www.xs4all.nl/~prism/pages/loosends.htm)

Slow Down from Zagora is probably my all time favorite. I also enjoy the Tighten Up Vol. 1 compilation which contains remixes.

Question: The Frankie Knuckles 12" of Hangin On A String has a B side track called Johnny Broadhead (Part II) which I really like. Was that ever on a non-US album release? Just curious...

My last post really

Early 90's D-Influence - "Good 4 We"

Hot group that took no prisoners as well.

Good lover
Journey
I'm the One
funny (how things change)
Good 4 we
for you I sing this song
Instantly
no illusions
sweetest things
changes
sign
the classic

Now this was a group that I hope people didn't sleep on - if you did the whole cd is awesome on the same lines of what we are discussing now.

Now this was a group that I hope people didn't sleep on - if you did the whole cd is awesome on the same lines of what we are discussing now.

graemlins/acclaim.gif definitely. all of their CDs were good. Another band I miss.

...Stay This Way. Are u with me? There is a cut on here, 'Sphinx', that is one of the best BNH tracks they've done IMO. Actually, this is probably the album they've done. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

there's a new "Best of" CD out that has a lot of these tracks on it - I picked it up in Japan for a steal and would be surprised if it can't be found at local CD stores. It WAS missing "Gonna Make You Mine", but I have that on vinyl anyway, so it wasn't too big a deal.

Now that that label is defunct, it will probably won't happen.
