anytime there are additional choices where one can go out and hear good dance music it's a great thing for all. this is true in any city, from those that have multiple parties on any given night like NYC and Chicago but even more so in places like Miami where the choices are alot less even during the span of a week. but choices there are, as the lust4house mentioned above and the ones brought to us by DHM(deep house movement). For the past SEVERAL YEARS, Omar, Stephen and Edwin(DHM) have spread the sounds of deep house at various venues such Blue,Rain, Lola and most recently at "footwork" @ Slak, bi-weekly on Fridays. All these including many one-nighters including the infamous roving ASCENSION have taken place in the Miami metro area, yes MIAMI.
I appluad "nuit-deluxe" for another option to hear the sound of deep house to Miami but ask, wouldn't it be more benificial for the good of the entire scene if they would have picked a different night for their party? just food for thought.
I will be show my support for "Ache Fridays" next friday the May 16th along with my friends.
Speaking of DEEP, is it true Tony Humphries will be spinning at NERVE on Friday, May 30th?

Speaking of DEEP, is it true Tony Humphries will be spinning at NERVE on Friday, May 30th? We picked Fridays, because when we decided to do this DHM was on Saturdays. This wasn't something that came up over night. It was planned for well over 6 months. At the time Friday Nights was dead. And we inquired with the headz in Miami who also encouraged that we do a Friday night. Either way there are many flavors of house and ours is gonna be different than DHM's. We have been in this scene since the early eighties, and wen't abroud with our musical talent, now we are bringing it back home.
I sure things will work out for all of us.
By the way if you are going to be there on the 16th, then be ready beacause I will be flying down to serve it... Old school style.
