I used to love this!!! Hip House without that gimmicky sound. Got me in a 1992 flashback.

Thats not really hip house...Pretty much the "Silk House Sound"

Maybe not but that's as close as I'll ever get to liking House music rapped over.
Do you think consider Fast Eddie's 'Make some noise' Hip House? The Jazzy version has a similar feel to this cut.

On the low, Maurice Joshua, Produced a plate for Kool Moe Dee, Called, 'Can you feel it', In 1994, That's very nice(Mid-Tempo type plate, Though, Kool Moe Dee is not getting as lyrical on this plate, As he is well-known for, But, 'Can you feel it', Is a very nice plate).
Much Respect

All of fast Eddie's stuff is Hip House....
But anything on the ID label was the brainchilds of Steve Hurley, Eric "E-Smooth" Miller, and Maurice Joshua...
Steve's creative flair was most noted there and his name, production-wise came from the ID Records/Tanglewood Studios
The NY and NJ jocks never played the version with the rapping....we went right on the dub mix with chantay scatting all over it. only about 5 minutes long but clearly the best mix

I like the version where she says 'Late in the midnight hour'. This track represents that early 90s sound I miss hearing now.
