I'm not certain, but it seems like the version that I often hear is not on my double 12".

Yeah, thanks to a response on the DHP I found out about a 12"..with an Instrumental and the Trance Mix which has an extd intro with just the keys..which I have heard many DJs rock.

I also saw the double with black labels...wonder what the deal with that is.

My copy has many versions of the full lyric version, then only one or two mixes of the more stripped-down version where most of the lyrics are gone and she's just repeating "you lift me up, off the ground, etc..."

I don't have it in front of me, I but I think that version is called "Casual's new vocal" on my copy. It's the first track on either side C or D.

Timmy plays a version that has a slightly more contemporary drum-track on it but with the same stripped-down vocals.

If you are refering to the one he played Saturday. It was the original 2X. Still, it was the promo copy from Emotive. Hearing the lyrics to that song Saturday mad me sad and happy that I was hearing it. Due to all the bs going on at the moment.

I have the double pack of "You Got Me Up" and the last track on that is Cajmeres "Original Underground Goodies Mix of Brighter Days". Not sure if this may be what you are looking for.

that mix is definitely the most emotional out of all of them.
and oh yeah, the original single record pressing.
