View Full Version : Chicago Snowstorm Check-In ... where ya'll at?

Just wanted to see who made it in and who did not. Did most of you make it to work or are you staying in? That thing was vicious last night! I was driving on the express at 11PM and cars were sliding left and right. I had many close calls. It was nothing nice! This morning I had to dig out the car and slowly make my way in to work (and an early day, too, at that). Is everyone alright?

The funny thing was few SUVs didnt have their 4WD engaged. they was fishtailing like the reast of them........

i talked to my mom yesterday and heard about the snow. that kinda snow would shut down dc for a day, but 6-8 inches is a piece of cake for the chicago streets and sanitation people. no day off for you.

I made it in to work. I always take Metra to work and I work on North Michigan ave. so the snow has been shoveled and the train is not affected by the snow..... Damn , Damn, Damn!!!!!

Just got back from taking my 4 yr old to school. Yes it's bad out there, but this is Chi-town this ain't nothing compared to what we have gotten before. CPS are all open and I have another peaceful day at home without kids! GOD IS GOOD!
