The flag gets hoisted up November 11.
We gotta fight off two groups:
1) Folks with the Vapers (remember that term): Folks who talk about our school like a dog, but when we take it all, they wanna be down with us.
2) The straight up haters. mad1.gif
Notice to the above groups: See you in San Antonio Next March! Without Starmello. Jump on UConn's jock all you want. We Are:
The Professor (McNamara)
Hakim The Flyin' Dream
Billy The Kid
Bay Wop!
a reloading freshman class!
and of course, SUperzone!!!!!
Oh, yeah, no stupid Lake Show issues, either! (Quiet, Al D) :D

PS--See y'all at the party (2i's and Final Four)!

Thanks for the article.
The problem this year, however, is that everyone is going to be gunning for the 'Cuse. Last year we were low key, which is what you want going into the post season.
I don't even think the team was rated prior to the season starting last year.

I don't even think the team was rated prior to the season starting last year. Actually, Connecticut's the favorite this year (unanimous, too!), so that takes some steam off of us! I'm gonna love it this year!

No matter how hard Uconn tries they will NEVER be ready for the big time.
Its good that they rank some other sucker above Syracuse, though, because those kindda rating just makes everyone play harder against "you."

Say Tac, I would not underestimate Connecticut my man, For, Not only taking the Big East, But, Taking all of the chips(The National Championship), The reason i feel is the coach Jim Calhoun's vast knowledge of the game and being able to adapt and change his style of play according to his personnel of his crew(Team), Also, Connecticut gave it to Syracuse last year in the Big East Semi-Finals hard(That game to me made Syracuse a better team intensity and coaching wise, Because Connecticut greatly exposed Syracuse in that game hard), Connecticut has horses in Emeka Okafor, And the young cat Charlie Villanueva, And solid leadership in the backcourt with Talik Brown, Now, Ben Gordon to me is not nice(Ben Gordon plays like there's no lines on the court/No Basketball IQ), Unless this cat truely changes his thought process(Basketball wise)and stop looking to shoot so much(I'm surprised Jim Calhoun lets him go nut like that), Connecticut will not go that far, The young cat Terrance Roberts from New Jersey(St.Anthoney's)is nice, Lefthanded cat who can get up/Block shots, Play down low/Good footwork,Hands and low post moves, And he has very good court savvy for his age, The Other cat(Darryl Watkins from New Jersey)will get playing time also, I heard Louie McCrosky may have to sit for a few(Hopefully not, Because that will hurt his development process coming in as an Freshman, There's a few cats that i would like to keep up with on the College Basketball scene this year, Cats Like, Marlon Smith from Queens(Molloy High School)Who is playing at Penn State,Gary Forbes from Brooklyn who is playing for Virginia, Leol Dung from New Jersey who is playing at Duke, Raymond Felton at North Carolina, JJ Riddick at Duke, Jameel Nelson at St.Joseph's in Philadelphia,Chris Thomas at Notre Dame, But, I can't wait to see Sebestian Talfair play at Louisville next year, Which is a very good move for Sebestian Telfair, Because Rick Pitino develops cats for the Pro's better than any other College coach in the country to
me, And, Rick Pitino is very demanding when it comes to academics and discipline(Cats who remember Rick Pitino from his days Coaching at Providence in the late 80's, Know he does not tolarate any foolishness in his Program), For the cats/young ladies who have never seen Sebestian Telfair play, All i can say is, He(Sebestian Telfair), Plays the game for the right reasons and has knowledge of the game way ahead of his years(The cats a Senior in High School, And I feel he has a better feel for the game right now, Than alot of the cats in the Pro's, Hopefully Sebestian Telfair will stay at Louisville for 2 years(I don't think he will though), And, There's a cat from Atlanta by the name of Dwight Howard who is very strongly considered the best cat in the country, who some say will go directly to the Pro's next year(Hopefully the kid will reconsider going to the Pro's and sign on with Georgia Tech, My man Paul Hewitt needs to get that program back on the map like Bobby Cremins did back in the 80's, But this year for College Basketball should be very interesting.

Considering myself spanked by Mike Barnes. No matter, I will go down with the ship.
Also, you should no better on any given day the Big East schools are each capable of beating each other.
But, and I say but, correct me if I'm wrong, does Uconn have a national championship under their belt?

Say Tac, Your right on time when you mentioned that on any given day any team in the Big East can beat each other, Also, Connecticut won the NCAA Championship in 1999 Beating Duke in one of the best College Championship games in a long time, Duke had a crew with Elton Brand,Corey Maggaitte,William Avery,Trajan Langdon, etc, Connecticut had Richard Hamilton(Who was cold rocking), And some more cats who i can't remember right now(Role Playing cats).

Say Tac, Were just passing around information my man(LOL), Also, I forgot to mention that the Connecticut crew from the 1999 NCAA Championship game against Duke, Not only had Richard Hamilton playing, But, Khalid El-Amin, Who was extra nice with his, But, Bugged out(Got Souped up after rocking for 2 years in college), And went Pro after his Sophomore year(Big Mistake for him), Even though Khalid El-Amin was very nice, He also was about 5'5(The Media guide for the Connecticut Basketball Team listed his height at 5'10)Which means that you better have Isiah Thomas type talent with Spud Webb/Tryone Bogues height(Not to many cats around like that), To even think about going Pro, Last i heard, Khalid El-Amin is playing overseas.

DR,
Just put down February 2 and March 7, 2004 on your palm pilot, dig? graemlins/grinyes.gif (I can't wait for this). I haven't been this exited about a Big East matchup since the mid 80s!
The Sporting News has (1)Duke (still with no inside game)and (2)UConn (Diesel freshman Terrence Roberts will put the body on Okafor).
