did something to your equipment,how would you react?

I was faced with this situation before and it turned out ugly.I had a wild relationship with an old girlfriend.We would have fights and so forth,not me starting the I must add.

Well one nite,she tossed my records and my turntable out of her car.I backed out and the next thing I knew,my moms was pulling me off of her.I did not punch her or hit her,I just had to hold her down,so to speak.My mother could not understand why I snapped off.I explained that that turntable cost 500 bucks and it was my main source of income.

I vowed I would never get into another relationship where fighting would result.

I don't have any equipment, but my prize possession used to be my clothes and my car... When I was younger I cherished my clothes, but its different for you guys that depend on your equipment for income. Guess I would feel the same if I was a model...Naaaw...models clothes are given to them from the designers...

To answer 3:26...

The only experience I had was with my former wife. One night we had an argument, and it spewed over into the next morning. To make a long story short, when I arrived home from work I tried to enter our apartment but could only open the door halfway. I could see into the kitchen and I noticed that the pilot light on the stove was on. I peeked behind the door and I noticed that she was on the floor with a crate of my records - picking them out one by one making candle wax. ...and she knew which ones to go for! (can you say lost records?)

Anyway...I just looked @ her, told her to enjoy herself (trying to use reverse psychology) and took my head out of the door and closed it. Of course I was walking down the hallway praying that the insanity would end there...

When I returned about 3 hours later, everything was back in its place and after inventory about a week later...I had only lost about 10 records.

I don't argue with anyone anymore, it's not worth it.

I would remain calm because eventually she'll get hers. My first instinct would be to put my foot in her ass (literally), but I would wait.

I have had everything happen to me. Car keyed, busted windows, clothes cut up, clothes throwed in the alley, busted lip, three pair of glasses broken (that's why I wear contacts now), fights with guy's she missing around with, and to top it off a night in Cook County Jail. With all this I can say I keep the peace and walked away except on two occasions. The time she busted my lip, I hit her ass back. That was reflex.
