How about we start another contest with bits and pieces of house like back in the day. We could call it the DHP Bits & Pieces mix and put it up as featured in the mix section.

1) At least a minimum of 40-50 tracks used
2) It can be 60 - 80 mins long
3) New House and classics shouldn't matter.
4) No Ableton!!!1t's not fair to others
5) Real mixing no software programs unless we are talking about Serato or similar that is used to compliment your mixing skills.
6) ???????? (add em in)

Yea but why not use today's technologies. Back in the day they were done with reels and multi-tracks. By the way you may want to post an example of what you mean. I actually discussed doing one with Mendoza. I used to love listening to and doing medleys.

Did you say a minimum of 40-60 records? I'm lucky to hit 25 records in 70 minutes.

You're right I will work on an example and get this poppin. The reason I don't want to use too much new technology is because everyone doesn't use ableton Live or can't afford it. Any ideas would be great.

These are quick mixes lets say each track would stay in no longer than 2 mins tops 80 min mix would equate to 40 tracks roughly so lets cut it down to 30-40...sound better?

I think he is talking about the medley records such as the popular Big Apple Productions, Stars on 45 and Bits 'n' Pieces joints from the 80's (not "hot mixing" as it is called).
