LONDON: The new singer Duffy burst into tears when legendary punk rocker John Lydon of Sex Pistols yelled at her at Mojo Honours List awards.
Thesun.co.uk reports, Lydon was having a talk with somebody when Duffy came up from behind and hugged him. He turned around and yelled: "You never do that to me."
She broke down crying and left the venue.
"Duffy was completely shocked by Johnny's outburst. She just wanted to give him a hug and introduce herself. She was really shaken and upset and went home immediately in tears," said a source.
When Lydon was told that it was Duffy who hugged him he did not know who she was saying: "I screamed at her because I didn't realise she was famous."
