Charlie Black, McCain adviser told Fortune magazine that such an attack "certainly would be a big advantage to him"

it would certainly validate the subsequent invasions for anyone with sparse political interest/knowledge (the majority of his constituents)

Ok...don't you all mean a REAL attack.
Ya'll know 9-11 was some bullshit so, they really need a REAL attack or a BETTER lie.

The talk now is Isreal doing a Fly By on Iran in mid U.S. Election (during that gray area where Bush has no power to stop it and new new Guy don't either because he has not taken office).
Since there was no real reason to invade Iraq, I say we bomb the hell out of Isreal - get rid of they asses too.
Wouldn't need a middle east peace process then, just body bags.

if that was to be true then that just exposes the level of commitment to a candidate.
oops, let me clarify: this comment was made as if obama voters may go to the opposing side if an attack were to happen. If the attack did happen then those
that flocked over were never really commited to stand by Obama in the first place. it's just a thing that makes you go "hmmmm..."

To me it's like he is saying it's time for another one. As Election Day approaches, the terror alert will probably be high and they'll catch some terrorists making bombs in an apartment in Brooklyn somewhere.

We get attack and Obama wins. We would have been attacked twice under a republican administration. Think the us people would risk a third?

or some prisoner held at Guantanamo bay escaped and swam to the states strapped with an A-Bomb to his chest. . . .
I'd put Charlie Black on a terror watch list. . .

USS Cole was an attack in 2000 under the Clinton (Democrat) administration.
not sure if you knew that.

not sure if you knew that. You are truly clueless. There is a huge difference in the attack on the USS Cole and 9/11. The Cole was a military target in foreign waters. 9/11(and the hypothetical attack Charlie Black is talking about) is an attack on civilians in the US. Another attack under the Bush regime would be devastating to the Republican party(and the already shit Bush legacy). Critical thinking is obviously not your forte.

You called it!
NEW YORK — Three men charged with plotting an attack on New York City's JFK airport will be arraigned on Wednesday, FOX News has confirmed.
The arraignment is expected after 2 p.m. EDT Wednesday in Brooklyn Federal Court.
The suspects have denied allegations of participating in a terror cell that planned to blow up a jet fuel artery feeding New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport. Their lawyers argue that a government informant entrapped the men into plotting the attack, but that there never was any real threat.
Appeals Court Judge Roger Hamel Smith on Monday upheld their extradition from Trinidad and rejected a defense argument that the three, who claim they cannot get a fair trial in the U.S. because of publicity, could not legally be extradited under Trinidad law.
The three men face conspiracy charges. A fourth suspect, who worked as a cargo handler at the airport until 1995, is in custody in New York.
A U.S. indictment charges the suspects with conspiring to "cause death, serious bodily injury and extensive destruction."
Trinidadian suspect Kareem Ibrahim, a Muslim cleric, has been hospitalized since April after apparently suffering a mental breakdown. His lawyer said Ibrahim is in no shape to be extradited, and he plans to file another appeal.
The next court date is Aug. 7.
