To King Cream (AKA C.V.O) the Drama Queen Who owes NO explanation to his loyal
subjects,
First, I'd like to say peace and blessings to all, especially GMan and Linda
for making it possible to share music and love. I don't own a computer so I
don't post or get any email.
Glenn, Cheez and I were on the telephone. I just asked Glenn why he did not
spin at Shelter and he SNAPPED! I wasn't trying to bash or disrespect him, I
only asked a question. Then he got on the World Wide Web and said I was wack and
don't support.
Glenn said>> ... but I get home from an almost crashed plane for Cheez and Sadar
to talk s**t and wack ass Sadar wasn’t even there because he don’t support
everybody in Chicago knows this, and Cheez got in free off my guest list, so
what ever to that. The only person there from the CHI who came to support me was
Brian Reeves because he told me so so sorry to B Reeves
I was just at Subterranean last Wednesday with Boo to hear you, Boo and Cordell.
I was coming to NY with Boo and Brian Reeves but your old job, Forte, called me
to play for the holiday weekend so I couldn’t go. Plus, I just went to NY and
played at APT as scheduled and didn't care about the time slot.
Everybody knows that ever since I have had a residency here in Chicago from 1988
to now at Slicks, I have had DJs from EVERYWHERE come and play as guests. I
remember when you said to me at the Red Pepper and I quote "you need to get rid
of all these lame DJs and let me and you just do it". I understood then that
you didn't know what this thing was about.
The reason I said NO when you asked to play at Slicks was that the owner said
you could not play there EVER because you cursed out the bartender and called
him a racist. And remember the last time you asked me to play at Red Pepper, I
said Yes and when You were spinning, the whole crowd laid on the floor and
played sleep. You got mad and left, I had no records to continue the party - I
had to get a small bag of records from Jarvis that he had in the car to finish
the party. And don't forget, I did record the Red Pepper so I still have the
tapes. In case your memory is bad, I can send them to GMan if necessary.
I came to the Urban Heirs party in Miami to support you and I and nobody else
from Chicago wanted to leave the MAW party directly across the street from you
at the same time but I persuaded everyone to come and when we got there, nobody
was there just you and the Urban Heirs and a man that kept saying “turn it
down”.
Some of us are not in this to be KINGS, we are struggling artists - all equals -
trying to share our music and love. Quit calling yourself the No.1 producer in
Chicago and LET THE PEOPLE CALL YOU THAT. Then it won't look like you are
blowing your own horn.
When you said, and I quote "my music is the only reason Chicago is on the map",
that showed that you don't know the history or that you don't respect people
like: Chip E, Adonis, Larry Heard, Robert Owens, DJ Pierre, Steve Hurley, Ron
Trent, Lil Louis, Craig Loftis, Mike Dunn, Jamie Principle, Jesse Saunders, Ron
Hardy, Frankie Knuckles, Terry Hunter, Joe Smooth, Anthony Nicholson, Maurice
Joshua, Eric Miller (E-Smoove) and Gene Hunt.
And Also about Cheez, he drove to NY in his own luxury truck - do you think he
didn't have $25 to pay his own way? The way I look at it, now you only owe him
$75 from the $100 you borrowed from him 2 years ago at the Winter Music
Conference.
I'm sorry the DHP family or any one else had to see this side of me, especially
since its my first post but I could not let Glenn mislead anyone.
Peace and Love,
Sadar
