Regardless of the rain delays, these guys had to be running on Heart alone. When I was playing soccer back in highschool, yo ass did a lot of running but you had a clock to deal with, not in this case. This will be talked about for decades.

Incredible match. A vintage final.

I'm trying to study here dammit. lol.

I hink this heralds a changing of the guards. Nadal just had too much for Federer- althugh Kudos to the Swiss for taking it into the fifth after being 2 sets down.

Reminiscent of Borg-Mcenroe matches in outcomes and drama, in fact both of them were there watching.

Not necessarily changing of the guards, only means they're closer to equals. Could easily go the other way another time.

LONDON (AFP) — John McEnroe, who won the last of his three Wimbledon titles two years before Rafael Nadal was born, admitted he was stunned by the power of the Spaniard when they practiced together on Friday.
The 49-year-old American warmed-up with the four-time French Open winner just before the world number two took on Rainer Schuettler in his semi-final at the All England Club.
"It was fun to get a first-hand look," said McEnroe, the champion in 1981, 1983 and 1984.
"His forehand is incredible. The speed and spin is incredible and the pop in his serve, there's a life to it."
Nadal, who will tackle defending champion Roger Federer for the third final in succession on Sunday, said he enjoyed the workout with McEnroe, now a highly-respected television pundit.
"It was a very nice experience to practice with a champion like John," said the Spaniard.

Yo, I only saw a bit of it, early in the 5th set. Borg-McEnroe '80 was the best tennis match I've ever seen. I didn't see all of Fed-Nadal.

There's a DVD of Borg-McEnroe
There WILL be a DVD of Fed-Nadal! or BETTER BE!!!!!!!

Saw the match in its entirety - a great match, very intense. I think Roger played like Raffa was in his head a little. I saw Roger miss a few forehand shots that he normally doesn't, especially in a tight match -- that's his bread-n-butter shot. Gotta give it to Raffa, though. After he choked in the third set with, having two match points, he got it together in the fifth. This kid is the real deal. Roger will be no doubt retooling his game in peparation for the inevitable rematch at the U.S. Open.
