Makes you wonder how much stress he was under while part of the Bush Administration. His body degraded right before our eyes.

RIP Michael DeBakey.

Michael DeBakey, the father of modern cardiovascular surgery who invented scores of medical procedures and instruments, developed the Mobile Army Surgical Hospital and established what later became the Veterans Administration hospital system, died Friday. He was 99.

The man is credited with saving 10s of thousands of lives.

well nobody wants to die. it seems there's some agreement that a few sorry ass individuals maybe deserve to die, and that their deaths would be & should be well received, and rightfully so. certainly ones who have committed atrocities against humanity fit the bill.

regardless, it would seem their deaths would not be well received by the ones doing the dying.

then again, who knows if such people make amends with their god. i'm inclined to believe only some see the proverbial light when it is often too late to say i'm sorry. but at least they see the light and probably did apologize except nobody heard them. well maybe their god did, which would be fine by me. i mean who is in a better position to understand all this than someone who knows they are dying.

was tony snow a bad man? i don't know. but he's dead now. is rejoicing his death somehow going to bring peace of mind to anyone or is that just a bullshit excuse to hide our own inner struggles with hatred. i know i'm reaching.

but, after all is said and done, tony snow was not always the tony snow we know today. once an innocent baby boy who probably wanted to be a fireman or a doctor, or even a truck driver, it was through no fault of his own he got tangled up in the matrix. most people are caught in it and dying for some and giving up material possessions for others is just not an option so we acquiesce. from the big man at the top to the little guy at the bottom, feeding the machine.

anyway i can't recall too many bad people dying peacefully, so the suffering should be enough. tortured souls don't benefit from more torture.

btw anyone who constantly berates the system yet at the same time benefits from it by supporting it isn't saying or doing much to change the situation. haha i'm guilty of that.

ok happy sunday. i'm outsky.

Armen once Bill Maher did an interview where he talked about Tony Snow being one of his friends. He said that if you got Tony out for drinks and spoke with him off the record he was a level headed guy who was not a right wing zealot.

something strange about a guy that has to get drunk to get level headed

i don't care. there's a line.. one side of it are for people who have the courage of their convictions to be on the right side. the others are either pricks or pussies.

true huey. but the words tony snow has portrayed in the name of ratings and being ahead of the media curve(before his white house gig) does make one think can the man be level headed on record instead of off.

I agree. There is a small amount of people who have an agenda in mind, which only serves their own financial and power interest. At the expense and a lot of times at the fatality of others. Tony Snow served such a group and therefore in mind as guilty. He can't use the Nuremberg excuse that he was just following orders. There are other jobs then Fox and the Bush administration.

Thus, I can't really feel sorry for him. Sorry man. Don't think he deserves anymore sympathy than anyone else who has promoted war and death for their own advantage.
