All the good accas have been used unfortunately. There was that big series of them on vinyl, I forget the name, but every single one got used and used again. You can get sample CDs but they don't have the same 'atmosphere'.

This is all that the people who are making those acca comps are doing. They just put them in one convenient place for you.

Check everywhere. TV, Movies, anywhere. Learn a language tapes. Anywhere. Creativity is the key.

There's no need to be so offensive, I was only putting forward my view. Geez. All I meant was that the comps. had been done to death and therefore probably weren't as good as other sources.
I recently used Appletalk speech synthesizer to create an acca. Indian records also have nice vocals. Or even old soul tracks where the band is quite low in the mix so you can push the 1kHz range and take out the rest to get the vox.

So easy a protic can do it (QUAD)

I found a site for accapellas a while back. The guy was doing it for trades, unfortunately he didn't have anything I wanted and was only offering mostly stuff I had no interest in.

I buy records sometimes only for the accapella. At home sometimes I just listen to them by themselves and get inspired.

There was also the accapellas anonymous series which was quite useful.

Check out www.Defected.co.uk, (http://www.Defected.co.uk,) they have a nice collection of accapellas I think there at volume 6 or 7 and they only cost about £5 each
