...that is your favorite.

Can you dig them or just tolerate them?

I only like the version I originally loved, myself...99% of the time.

Not many I can tolerate...especially if I get attached to a certain version.

I HATED the accoustic version of Erro-Change for me and I also HATED the remix that came out a few years later. The Prime time mix was where it's at.

That's my personal opinion though.

I didn't care for that updated Strings of life remix that Krivit edited. Then they came out with a vocal version.:jpshakehead:

Especially tracks like Strings Of Life, should never be tainted, IMO.

depends on how good the variation is. You mean remixes? If it has some integrity and is good in its own right, then it might get a pass. I am notoriously skeptical about remixes...but sometimes it works.

I love jazz variations...when it's a matter of an artist giving their interpretation of a song, that's ok. Sometimes I like them and sometimes I don't. I love Cassandra Wilson...I hate her version of Last train to Clarksville, for instance.

Cold Cut People Hold On (12" new Jersey Jazz Mix) is my fav. The other ones annoy me because thry lack lack the "jazz" element and that IMO is crucial to the song.
