does anybody use the "today's active topics" feature? do you use it exclusively?

wondering if i'm missing out on some way you all can get through all the threads, esp. if you haven't visited in a few days.

or you don't pay attention to he number of replys and keep reading the same thing.

(OK, this is part question, part confessional.)

Good questions!

Do you have access to lynx, the unix text-browser?

It's much faster than a graphical browser, but
you won't see the smileys.

Too bad this board is not set up like a newsgroup,
where read articles disappear, making it easier to
keep up without re-reading older posts.

I just browse through most of it...I'll miss weeks at a time, there really isn't anyway to catch up on that many threads. If I find something really interesting, I'll take the time to read all of the replies, usually, I just post my reply to the original point of the thread.
