Going on a cruise Thursday morning.......

To Nassau, baby! Starting to get excited, 'cause I can't remember the last time I took a real vacation. Any advice as to where to go, or better yet, where NOT to go?

Hi Rudy,

Did not take a cruise but spent a week in Nassau. Spent a lot of time on the beach, took a tour of the island, went to a club that the locals frequented, chickened out of the hang gliding, bought a lot of junk at the markets downtown, had a lot of great seafood at various restaurants. Had a ball.

My wife is talking about going para-sailing or hang glidiing. I'll let you know how it turns out (whether she chickens out or not).

I went on a cruise last January and one of the stops was Nassau. I went to a couple of markets and hung out at the Big Hotel Casino they have there. I can't remember the name.
