good game last night.... i normally don't watch baseball.. but my boyfriend is from Boston.. so I have been watching all the games...plus we watched the curse of the bambino on hbo.. so i learned some history of that particular team...hence, i have been rooting for them..

in Peru, people go crazy over soccer... i have never seen american's go crazy ...(or that crazy over any sport).. so it was intriguing to see a collective group of people rooting for this team continously...even though they kept losing...

People's blood pressure must get so high watching those games...It's such a nerve wrecking sport...one of my nails is gone cause i kept bitting it last night..

We went to a bar downtown and half the people were red sox fans and the other half ny fans.. met some cool people....i thought boston had it.. i really did.... good plays by NY.. they deserved to win that game.. although i hope florida beats them... graemlins/rofl.gif

i feel complete devastation today...i know now how it feels to be a red sox boston fan...

i might be garcia parras for halloween.. :D

definately enjoyed the experience ... graemlins/beerchug.gif a little hungover at work .. ;)

i feel you, maria. i am originally from texas so i never gave two shits about any new england teams, especially the red sox. but my roommate and one of my best friends is from boston and once he took me there for the first time and took me to my first memorial day red sox game, it was all over after that. not to mention that his family welcomed me with open arms like i was a long lost relative. so i too was devastated to read(i had to get on the train during the final inning) that the yankees won the pennant. although i might say, this playoff series was one of the best i've witnessed and the best team did win last night. but the sox gave it their best and that's all you can ask for. it just wasn't meant to be, this year.
