View Full Version : Direct Cuts EP - wow!

I ordered this after hearing parts of it on the Dancetracks site. It's on Running Back Records, and is by Mute. My favorite track is "Direct Cut" but the three others are good, too. It's like Larry Heard with a bit more bass, or NuGroove back in the day. GJ, if you read this, buy it!

Btw, it was also available through Word and Sound (WAS). Tehy have aslo provided two sound fiels for those interested.

I just saw that Dance Tracks has it no longer listed, so maybe it is already sold out, but for you UK guys, Timewarp Distribution should have it, but I wouldn't mind you getting on the nerves of Vinyl Junkies in order to get one ;)

Gerd, I've picked this up via Juno. I should get it tomorrow so I'll get a proper listen then, but judging by the sound clip it sounds right up my street.

My friend Mute will be very glad to hear that some DHP guys dig his style.
Unfortunately, we only pressed about 500 copies and Groove Attack has sold them all, so it's impossible to order it from them.
But it should still be available at some stores.
