Is there some type of standard as far as height on consoles?

I just rearranged my stuff the other day, which at the moment sits on an old computer desk. The mixer is about 6" higher than the tables because it wouldn't fit between the tables. Also, I use to have it raised higher on cinder blocks and now I took them out. It really doesn't feel right now.

My plan is to make a coffin. Thinking three compartments high, two wide for the vinyl with the coffin on top. Does this sound like a comfortable height for someone 6'3"?

Try to eliminate your having your screen in a position that would require you to twist or angle your neck up or down. Place the computer screen directly in front of you, not at an angle, nor to the right or left sides either.

Your screen should be at a comfortable height and distance when you are seated comfortably in front of it.

In short, the middle of the screen (approx.) should be at eye level. Typically, this is 2-3 inches from the top, depending on screen size.
