moi aussi. just nothing relating to life as I live it. every once in a while, but with no feedback, there's no reason. plus it's such a time kill. better things to do with life. off to help my mother in law find a new place to live now. 80 year old liberian woman who used to run the country back in the day, and we find out that our politics are the SAME. getting a long like 2 peas in a pod when I break out the harry belafonte or talk politics. anyway, life continues to be better off-line. connecting with those i want to connect with. Of course, with my new job coming as webmaster, i'm counting the days left until it's back to the office and back on the sand box 8 hours a day. but that will change for good too.

life is better lived in the real world. and an hour or less on the Pee is more than enough.

Sad while on DHP? I am in a different world when I'm on DHP. My grown kids walk through the door & shake their heads b/c they are so invisible 2 me. I don't hear them, don't see them & they just have to wait until I'm done with what I'm doing if they want some attention.

1st thing in the morning I used to do is turn on the computer then enter the restroom. I saved a step, I just let my baby sleep all nite, & with a push of any button, wallah no log on...

Actually I like looking through different threads & sharing info...if you're sad maybe it's time 4 you to re-evaluate certain aspects of your life that might not have anything 2 do with DHP, just my opinion.

Being Sad, never. If the topics make you sad, maybe DHP isn't for you. These very same topics headline the nightly news, plastered across the newspapers and the internet. I'm a newbie. I always find something of interest, but there have been times nothing appealed to me, so I tune in to tune out, always another day.

Suggestions or solutions for a better DHP?

I dont think this page needs to be made better, but, as you said, the topics are always that that are on the news. I watch the news, so, sometimes it's just a drainer to ALWAYS be bombarded by headlines. And gigs, and Dj this and Dj that, how ever, I do love the topics about the philosophies of Djing, I could discuss that for hours, and politics as well, even though, my views are normally slammed here.

I come from a different place tho, so what headlines there doesn't headline here. But yeah, generally I enjoy this place, just sometimes its a bit hard to understand whats going on because Im not there physically.
