Are you offended by images like this? This topic came up as I was watching 50 Cent's performance at the awards with my wife. She commented how one of her close female friends can't stand the girls that objectify themselves on videos. My wife takes a more liberal view and believes that just because the girls act it does not mean the live it. It's a job. I tend to agree with my wife but I can understand the thinking that women have a hard enough time without putting themselves out there like that. However, this picture caught me off guard when I saw it. It may or may not be any worse than writhing in a video but in my mind it crosses a line in decency. What do you think?

What's supposed to be offensive about it? If it's something about their clothing, with this background, the pic is dark.

Or are you referring to the leashes around their necks?

I would never do this.. Unless the man is the one half naked and I'm the one holding the doggy chain.. :D

But as far as the girls on the videos its just there way of trying to be seen... And hang with the "big wigs"... to each their own.. If your ok with what you are doing so be it.. its your life...

Back in the day...a female out in public with bo bra was called a "hag" and when the dog collar is included, I guess that make atleast one of them a "Hag Bitch" seeing as a female dog is a bitch.

Personally, I don't care how these people present themself, it is no reflection on me at all. I just hope that all wisdom I pass to my son stick with him and he don't brink some "Rag bag" female home to meet the family.

My wife takes a more liberal view and believes that just because the girls act it does not mean the live it.If it walk like a duck & quacks...I call it a duck.

Many want to say just because a person dress a certin way, that don't mean...etc. I say, what a person put on their body came from a thought, and since a thought is internal - what is seen externally on a person is pretty good picture of how / what they are because - if a person spend good money on clothes just to look like a pimp / hooker / drug dealer, that is the caliber of people they wish to attract.

Bird of a feather forever flock together.

I'm only offended if you're not supposed to be wearing it. You can't have Large Marge trying to fit her rolls in baby clothes. That ish ain't right and someone should call the fashion police when that happens. http://deephousepage.com/smilies/smokin.gif

This is offensive to me. I don't think I need to comment on why, but for those too ign'ant, I think he portrays these women as his property.

Wanna hate on these women... No.
Do I like it? HELL NO.
Does it make me sad to see my sisters dressed like this, and brothers supporting it - ABSOLUTELY.

There is so much baggage with these outfits/images. If it weren't for racism & sexism (yeah, yeah, I'm on that soapbox again), the outfits could be just a fun way to be outrageous. But I think it is naive to act as if you can seperate those things from the outfits/images.

To me, it as a verification of what is just under the surface in our present society. We can pretend and keep our heads burried in the sand. But don't act surprised when the sh!t hits the fan.
