Ok, one song where I loooooooove BOTH versions--the original AND the remix.
The Original: What a bangin, crazy deep fonky MAW-produced track with a monster thumpin' Gene Perez bassline.
The Remix: What a bangin, crazy deep four-on-the floor, energetic, uplifting MAW-produced track with a super-punchy, melodic Gene Perez bassline.
I can't choose between either.

This is the only 12 I'm aware of
A1 Thank You (MAW Mix) (10:16)
remix by Masters At Work
A2 Thank You (MAW Beats) (3:00)
remix by Masters At Work
B1 Thank You (Rascal Dub) (6:35)
B2 Thank You (Kenlou Horn Mix) (5:29)
remix by Kenlou
There was also "Sax You".

I'm confused about this too. I heard a version that wasn't house, no 4/4, and really loved it. It sounded more like an eighties groove track. Would this be the original version, or the original MAW version/remix. I've heard the housey MAW mix, but don't think it's as good as the slower version. I'm confusing myself now, I guess what I'm trying to ask is whether MAW did the production from the beginning, on all versions ?
Did Mr Winans release it, then get a MAW remix ?
cheers

Maybe the version you mean is from BeBe's CD he had out in 1997...

Peace Groove, When I first heard the original, I thought the bassman was Marcus! The original has a Luther feel to it. Perez nails that Marcus sound. And also, Luther is actally singing background. Peace.
