Does anyone have the words to "An American Poem?" I've been searching.... I want my students to have the poem in front of them, while they listen to the basebment boys/thoseguys mix. they need to hear it now more than ever!

John Ep You might try getting the words from Ras himself, since you want to use the poem for educational purposes. I'd try reaching him through Newark (NJ) City Hall. If you tell him what you are doing, he would probably be willing to help. Since you've done searches, you probably know his sister was killed in a domestic situation last August. Good luck!
