What I think is funny is that at almost any wedding, bar mitzvah, prom whatever, they play YMCA. The crowd instinctively does the arm motions, without realizing that the lyrics in the song are about a good place for gay men to meet each other.

I have even seen their movie"Can't stop dancing..."

My uncle used to bug out on me as a kid,cause I looooved the Village People.I had all of the 45's.
I didn't get it until I was older that there was a sexual overtone in some of the tunes.
