This week’s artists include DJ Delmar Browne; young, Newark-born vocalist Stephen McLean, named “Musician of the Year” by NJPAC's Wachovia Jazz for Teens; Newark-born jazz vocalist Eve Cornelious (pictured) and The Chip Crawford Group, who have been featured together on BET Jazz Vocal Discovery and at top jazz venues like The Blue Note, Sweet Rhythms, and Lenox Lounge; and Brooklyn-born composer-musician Brian Jackson, widely regarded as one of the early architects of the neo-soul era, whose licks and riffs have been sampled by many top hip-hop artists – most recently on Kanye's "Home Again" and Common's "The People
