I really don't understand why if someone speaks a different language, that it should bother anyone. If they aren't talking to you in the first place, why would someone care what is being said? I mean this in general because I hear people complain about it and it's just plain silly. When I ask them why they mind it's always the same reply, "Oh, they might be talking about me". Yeah, Like people have nothing better to do than talk about you all the time.

My Girlfriend speaks persian to her family all the time in front of me and it doesn't bother me. It's not a conversation that is directed towards me and it's just what they are used to.

Let's be a little more tolerant and remember that people are raised in different environments and customs. Let's try to bridge the gap rather than draw lines.
