FYI -
Ramshorn is the Euro version of Unidisc.
They still sell a huge back catalog on vinyl but they're mad expensive. The cool thing is they're brand new, high quality pressings. In some cases they have interesting re-edits or extended mixes not on the originals. For some reason though, I still like the originals better than any repress.
Check this long list out -

Anyone know how many releases unidisc did on their own (meaning not released on another label, prior to the unidisc release)? I was told that The Stranger "Shinning Star" was an original unidisc release..

To the absolute DISGUST and DISMAY of the current regime at Universal(the sale was done by the previous guys who saw NO VALUE IN THE SOUL/DISCO STUFF), Unidisc owns the De-Lite catalog (except for Kool and the Gang): Coffee, Crown Heights Affair, Kay-Gees etc...
I am disgusted because Unidisc loves to NOT license material.
American labels play that game too (Sony,WEA).

then Atlantic licensed it the same year it came out.

American labels play that game too (Sony,WEA). Yeah, I've heard that Unidisc refuse to license material it owns.

There is something really cheap about Unidisc. Just don't like them. Would always prefer to keep digging for the originals.

I bought my prism copy a few months after the uniwave copy.
the album was recorded in Montreal with a lot of our local musicians.
Many of them(the musicians) became members of a group called Tchukon in the mid 80s.
BTW Geraldine is the mom of Canadian artist Freddie James(Get Up And Boogie - Unidisc Records),and one of Freddie's sisters was one half of the group Cheri(Murphy's Law - Venture Records)
they all actually lived in the south shore area in montreal.

His sister Roslyn is fine as hell....
I can imagine,
everyone thought it was cute when he came out.
the girls used to chase him at peace centennial high school.
was it peace centenial?can't remember...............
