New Orlean's thread (http://deephousepage.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=036218)

I had a good time when I was down there... try to get off of bourbon street for a little while, though. Check out a spot called el Matador for some great live (usually rock) music at 504 Esplanade and this little piano bar called Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop at 941 Bourbon St.

544 is a great spot right in the middle of the action...
the mothers breakfast is no joke...

.. AND DON'T LEAVE WITHOUT HAVING A PIMS CUP!

easy

easy Yeah but if you're a first timer in New Orleans, Burbon Street is an experience. Then venture out after a while.

Yo T -
I had a grea meal @ K - Paul's. You may need a rezzie though. For simple yet exceptional LOCAL food, YOU MUST GO to Uglesich's (pronounced You-glih-sich-iz). It as one of the cheapest and best meals I had while I was down there last spring. It was recommended by a local, soooo. Hvae a good and safe trip. Watch out for those terrorista's!
