I have a serious question David.Im playing at a party this weekend(havent done a mobile gig in yrs) anyway the question is how should I set up my speakers for a hall say fit for 500 people?to get the best sound?I find my self putting the speakers(4) on top of each other, but notice the bass is just not there.Should I use all 4 corners of the hall? Thanks

Let's give it a shot.....

First & Foremost is....

Rule # 1 - - ROOM ACOUSTICS

Sammy....the first thing that comes to mind is to build false corners for the speakers (custom) -- and to have someone who really knows the art and have the technical skills to use a rta to balance the system i.e. tweak the system to the room.

There are many other factors involved....I would seek out a professional sound person WHOM YOU CAN TRUST for sonic guidance.

re: custom false corners ( expensive) - go for the rta.
