Had myself a Deep House Mornin'!!!
Cheddi - Very nice set, man. Soulful at times, reflective at times, edgy at others. As usual, you touched on some very nice songs that were presented with style. I've been hunting a couple of those joints that you played. We'll talk...
Jamie - Somebody's been gettin' their weight up. Quirky, funky records in a well mixed set. You're becoming a goddamned subversive. A rebel. God bless you. I must have that Cocomotion remix.
Ronnie Ron - Another nice set, Ron. You always play great vocal cuts, but you picked some instrumentals with a killer vibe. Great overall program, potnah. Tight, seemless mixes. The list for this set is on thismix.com , right? I'll check.
Deesko - Never heard you play before. This set started off kind of swirly/ooh-ahh-y, then you gradually built that shit up to ramming speed. Lost art, man. Very impressive. Really dug your mixes and record selection too, man.

Gonna check the others out tonight after my office mate leaves.
Thanks Gman for hosting the mix.
Thanks for the compliment John/upliftdisco....
The mix was made as a "promotional" CD for a new gig I picked up (hence the name of the mix). I play from open till about 2:30am, so I have both ends of the extreme (empty to packed) and tried to play all stuff I'd just picked up to reflect the new nature of the party, and more importantly would reflect the "flow" of how the party would pick up over the course of the first few hours of the night.
Thanks again for the compliment, glad you enjoyed the mix.
Peace
Rob

I listened to Ronnie's this AM, I liked the record with the P. Rushen sample and of course the Working Underneath (Damn why the singers always not getting credit) joint.
Lennox, Master ZZZZZZZZZZZ, heard that a long time ago..ZZZZZZZZZ.
I am gonna hit Deesko's next.
Thanks for the feedback.

And thanx that really means alot....been up in this music for over 10 years now and I must admit that I really dont feal like I was understanding it or what I liked about it or even having my own idea about 'how I really think I like it played' until very recently.

Thanks again Gman...
The mix is a little "even" in that there's nothing that would make someone intimate with house say ohhhh sh*t per say, but it wasn't made with that in mind.
Ronnie Ron, nice uplifting mix... had me tappin the hell out of my toes under my desk. I love Your Sun is Gonna Shine.
Hitting JLennie's now....
Peace
