re-edits? For us UK people who might not know about them.

What were the best?

Was the Peaches and Prunes re-edit better than the re-make re-edit that came out on Automan last year?

yes the one ron had more energy to it. i would say he loved changing the arrangement around where it would be constant not flowing like the automan version. or the edit of bad luck or i cant turn around (much better than the ashley beedle version)

The only two I know are the Patti Labelle and The Dells (which was replicated by Harvey on a Black Cock release about 11 years ago).

Ronnie did a lot of edits. Some of them were just played to test on crowds.
Here's some of them:
Plain outta luck-Gayle Adams
No one gets the prize-Diana Ross
Baby, you got my nose open-Harold Melvin
It's House"Basement mix"-Chip E.This is the version that sounds like a hiccup.
Dreamin'-Loletta Holloway. He had so many versions of this edit. The best one being the version where he makes Loletta holla.
Nobody can take your place-Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes.
Inch by inch-Persia
Jungle Dj"Life is a jungle"-Kikrokkos
I need you-Sylvester
The love I lost-Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes
Straight to the point-Atlantic Starr
Are you ready for this-Revelation.He freaks one part where it sounds like he is saying get it Ron.
Wargames-Lil Louis
Los Conquistadores Chocolates-Johhny Hammond
Pass the buck/Just as long as I got you-Love Committee

Like I said before,he had mad edits, some he did others he didn't.I am naming edits I know he did.

The Theo edit of Nightlife Unlimited was done on a tape deck.I honestly do not think it's worth the price that ep is going for on ebay. Not clean enough for me.

Ron Hardy was the first jock to drop I can't turn around.

Body Heat-James Brown
Coming On Strong (sorry, the group slips my mind)
Love In "C" Minor(sorry, the group slips my mind)
Big Freak-Phreek
Dirty Talk/Wonderful/Klein & M.B.O.

I'll try to dig some up.
