Possibly, this attitude is the prevailing sentiment of most club owners. But what about the club that's willing to meet the non-drinker half way. If there were an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages available would you buy it to support the venue? Or is it that "real underground dance parties" are better suited for small venues with low overhead? Does underground music belong...underground? Is the era of the medium size and large club dance music experience over?

Is the era of the medium size and large club dance music experience over? If you provide beverages for drinkers and non-drinkers alike, they had better support. It's amazing how many people either forget or neglect to realize that the places they dance at are BUSINESSES. Either support or get out! Paying a cover charge simply isn't enough these days. Hopefully the cover (or at least a portion of it) is paying the DJ's, but the venue deserves our support also. No support = No party......JMJ

Don't believe that any club is open for your enjoyment, it's open to make money.

I think that clubs should carry more non alcholic stuff to get their money from the "dancers". I always spend money when I go out, even if I don't want to drink, I'll at least buy a bottle of water if they have it.

The real problem arises when a "pathological" relationship develops where the club goer has enjoyment at the expense of the club's survival. It has to be a win-win situation for everyone to benefit.
