When i was a baby about 1 1/2 years old My father left Me and my Mother to fend for ourselves. I never had much contact with my DAD i may have seen him 4 or 5 times in my lifetime. This was not good because it pretty much allienated me from his side of the Family, I never knew them very well so very little contact was made between me and them.
I received a Phone call Last night from my Dad's sister (My Aunt) and she said they had been trying to find me for a very long time and didnt know where i was, they had found me on the Internet but my Phone (LAN line) was disconnected (I use my Cell now as my primary means of comunication) Somehow from an old friend they got a hold of my Mothers Number and was able to reach me.
This is good news because My SISTER has been looking for me and Wants to meet me. I have never seen her I knew about her but I didnt even know her name or how old she was or anything. She has been looking for me for a couple of years and thinks its time for us to meet. I was so happy to hear this because i always wanted to meet her. She lives in Virginia and is in her early 20's and her name is Cindy Overby, I am waiting for her to Contact me sometime this weekend.
I sure am Happy!!! smile.gif

That's nice to hear, hope it works out well for both of you. What is the age difference between you 2? She might wonder if you knew about her, how come you never tried to find her. Being in her 20's and living in VA, don't try to convert her to house music all at once :D

R-R i never met my dad until i was sixteen. i went and visited him and found out i had 7 younger brothers and sisters. being an only child it was a surreal experience. all in all, i felt more of a connection towards my siblings then to my dad.

hey ronni my best friedsn girlfriend had never met her real mother. She was adopted when she was 1 year old. When she was 25 she wanted to find out where she was and eventually she traced her to australia. Her mum had visited scotland 27 years ago and met a man who she had a child too.She felt the child was too much and gave her up."6 years on my friends girl traced her and went to stay for a week in australia. She met 4 sisters she never new and 2 brothers. She did not have any family at home and when she went there she said they were great with them (very friendly).Just 4 weeks ago my friend came back from a year living in australia with his gf and her new family.he said it was the time of his life and the people treated him like his own brother.
Hopefully ure story will be as fulfilling a this one!!
Good luck ;) graemlins/OLA.gif
