1) The Crowd. The Vibe has to be positive, festive.
2) The Music. It must get me jumping. Doesn't matter who the DJ or live band is. If they're smokin', It's alright with me.

I was at Summerstage. Number 1) was very much satisfied. Chaka alone satisfied Number 2), and made me forget all the sound system woes.

It seems like, from looking at the Chosen Few picnic in Chicago, both criteria were satisfied there as well.

Tell me something. I wasn't at the Shelter afterparty. If the the vibe at Shelter and the music were pumpin', should we be worring about what happened to our favorite DJs? Peace.

"I LOVE MUSIC" that's it... Nothing else matters. I can be in a graemlins/cussing.gif mood, but as soon as the music hits me the right way, I forget about everything else. I've been to some pretty graemlins/cussing.gif parties, it was always been the music. Not the people.
