MAW is the label and artists from which I have the most records of. MAW's remixes were incredible in the early to mid 90s and still come out with quality tracks from time to time. But most of my MAW section is made of oldies.
Second is my Moodymann/Theo Parrish section.
Third is Kerri Chandler and Blaze (more or less the same amount of records).
Fourth is Ron Trent / Anthony Nicholson / USG / Miquifaye....

Kelvy, who is Bob James ? I've never heard of him ?? smile.gif </font>[/QUOTE]Quentin! graemlins/OLA.gif Bob James was a prominent jazz fusion musician in the seventies in which he was best known for "Take Me To The Mardi Gras", which was an early bboy/bgirl break record and did the moody theme for the stateside comedy "Taxi"...definitive essential jazz funk.
he has a website out: http://bobjames.com

and whoever did all the Sade remixes graemlins/thumbsup.gif heh! heh! i think i've been rummaging your collection as of late :D i especially love 1979's "Feets Don't Fail Me Know" album by Herbie with "You Bet Your Love" and "Ready Or Not" (the hook was used to introduce back in the 80s the brief community segments 98.7 Kiss used to air)...and 1980's "Stars In Your Eyes" from the Monster lp???!! graemlins/1luvu.gif hypnotizing!
speaking of George Benson, i recently picked his 1968 "Giblet Gravy" album on Verve which is nice...
Brass Construction..allright then! :D that Randy Muller production is consistent except for their final "Conquest" album of 1985 which was mostly filler except for the classic "Give And Take"..."Walking The Line" and "Party Line" (got to love the vocoder voice in the intro of that song) are among my Brass Construction favorites...
hope all is well Big GF...speak soon!

Kara, I have to give you props on your list! I completely forgot about my Greyboy/Greyboy Allstars/Karl Denson/Ubiquity section.
I actually met greyboy when he came for an appearance here in Chicago to support one of his last albums. He signed my entire Greyboy collection and we had a ball hanging out. He is a really talented and cool guy. graemlins/cool_shades.gif
