So I'm sitting in the theater this weekend watching Mystic River (good flick) and suddenly I had this weird thought.
"Just how many people in this theater have killed someone?"
If you've seen the movie, you might be able to understand the thought. And also, it was a big theater. :D
So I'm wondering...have you ever had any strange thoughts as you were going about your normal daily business?

should I give you my daily dispatch?

I often think that we humans originated on Mars.
graemlins/stupid.gif I know...
Via the vast chain of cause, effect and subliminal interconnectedness, we are all perhaps murderers. spooky.
I was watching Star Wars Episode 1, and when the credits were rolling at the beginning of the film, you know where it says, 'A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...', I'm thinking to myself, could we be existing in an incarnation of this solar system? Yeah, I know; I'm bugged out...but it could be true.

One more strange thought as I walked past a monument today across from the White House...
I wonder if future civilizations (thousands of years from now) will come across relics of american cities and find things like statues of dead white men (you know...the guys with the puffy white wigs) and deduce that they were gods we worshipped?

"how stupid is she/he really"
I often think about the role and functions of the brain...
"where in the hell is my money?.."
I also, think about being very wealthy from time to time....
I think about sex alot

Sometimes, when someone has a lot to say to me and they're talking at length and I'm standing there, listening, I think, what if I just closed my eyes, flung my head forward and head-butted this fucker... I mean, I almost never do that, but the thought occurs to me and I usually have to fight back hysterical laughter.
I'm of the opinion that these alleged rock-solid concepts such as "Reality" and "Sanity" are
collective, mass-unspoken agreements among people.
The color "Blue" for instance. Everyone in most cultures and languages can identify the color blue. But, if you were raised by people who told you that that that color is called "green" or even "tractor", then that would be come your reality. So what, exactly, is real? I mean, the most concrete and tangible of items that define our physical reality; sky, tree, sun, earth, home, love- are nothing but consensus titles on which we've agreed to recognize as reality. Reality is simply a malleable, abstract notion with which we've chosen to trick ourselves for the sake of our own security, or lack thereof...

I'm diggin the thoughts on reality and sanity. There's this homeless man who I see every now and then at the end of my street who is always screaming at the top of his lungs at invisible people. What if there is really someone there and I just dont see them????

Well not a strange thought but a moment of clarity happened while I was talking to Trindee (lurker queen) this am. We agreed that if we had known then what we know now, we would not have done what we did, when we did it.
Strange thoughts:
how do we know A really say A and not E or I?
who decided what side of the road we should drive on?
there are so many more...

Thoughts on the afterlife. Do you really go heaven? Does reincarnation really exist? Will there be a resurrection of the dead? Is there a actually place called hell? I know many people believe in these, but do we really know.

I've always thought if one were to stab some sucka bothering them with a knife made of ice and killed 'em, if no one saw me and anything else to tie me to the crime and the weapon is melted, would one get away with it.
I often think of the things I could do if I were invisible and faster than the speed of light (when I wanted to be).
(about to give away the plot so read this next paragraph at your own risk)
And on that "Mystic River" plot, I would imagine many white men getting away with murder everyday.
That movie only shows how it can happen.
If I could kill people with just a thought there will be alot of dead people out there..
