I'm going to Vegas soon, but was told Studio 54 was a joke. Where can a die-hard house music fan go to party at in Las Vegas?

I don't know about house, but as long as you're not at the so-called Studio 54 (MGM Grand), partying in Vegas is ok. Peace.

I like The Peppermill Lounge. It ain't house by any stretch of the imagination but it's a good chill freak show around 5am. They've got a flaming pool of water and shag carpet. I've never been to a good club in Vegas but there's gotta be something. If not, there's always Crazy Horse II...

Is the Motown Cafe (RIO) and The Hop still around?
Keep a look out for where Frank Richards is playing. He played some nice stuff the last time I was there. I'd go to Club Rio, Velvet Lounge, Seven, or Rain. Check what the format will be beforehand, but they usually play dance/house music on Fridays and Saturdays.

Rain was a little too techno for me but it was a good time. A friend of mine who lives there told me Studio 54 was getting better. They have booked Louie Vega, Tony Humphries, and Doc Martin in recent months.
If no house is to be found in Rome, do as the Romans...
