When was the last time you had fun doing a gig?

I was thinking about this and it has been a while since I did a set where I was just in a good ass mood,having a ball playing tunes,smiling,dancing,just having fun.

I can be serious when I am spinning and sometimes zone out.Some folks do not understand that and think I may be ignoring them,but when I'm deep in thought,I can tune anything and anyone out.I'm only thinking about what am I playing next.

This year at Club Octane(Califonia) with Dj Teeto+Dj Toonz,also 2 years ago at Jacksonville Florida with Dj Jamie Lennox and the entire crew up there.That party we did at that warehouse and the radio station was off da hook!!! smile.gif

The last fun gig I had was a bbq in last summer. The woman that threw it was one of the nicest people I have met and they took complete care of me. They also fed me until I almost busted and gave me an extra $50 on top of what I charged for the gig. graemlins/respekt.gif

This year @ Club Octane spinning next to Ivan & my Hermano Teeto.My cousin was there aswell Carlos we had much fun.I didnt know my music could move body's and it sure did Teeto & Ivan didnt want me to get off the Tables that night...I would like to do that again some day... graemlins/thumbsup.gif

i had fun at stevie b's. i was able to play what i wanted without restrictions and the clientelle understood that.

I really enjoyed the Holloween party I did for Art "Chatdaddy" Sims. I played all types of music and even opened up a little on the Mic. I usually don't talk, but the crowd was really feeling the music and we had a few other things going. It was a "fetish & fantasy" party so we had to get the crowd involved in activities.

Yea sometimes you go into a zone because you have to figure out what record to play next to keep the crowd out there on the floor, so I don't talk much to people who want to come up and talk (even the ladies).

At the end of the night people came up to say thanks and get business cards from me.

That was the last time I really enjoyed myself and it all went down flawlessly. I even got an extra $75 which is very rare.

hate end of nite packing though Yea I hate the end of the night 'cause you're the only one having to move that stuff unless you have a soundman.

But there is nothing like entertaining people and watching the ladies dance to the music you're puttin' down. I love seeing women shake that ass on the dance floor, sometimes it's a prelude to what's coming after you get those digits.
