Peace,
Greg Gray I understand....I don't know if the "Truth" can cross stateline, it might be classified as a control substance...more like controlling.
They are forecasting 80 sunny degrees on Sunday...."everybody in the sunshine" graemlins/OLA.gif
Thanks to all the well wishers and thanks for the kind words....it wouldn't happen without the people.

it's the one next to the Brooklyn Bridge...it starts on the Manhattan side where Canal Street ends into the Bowery....on the Brooklyn side it starts where Flatbush extension ends.

okay, just got into work and although I made it to the park around 5, I couldn't find the damn Jamboree! graemlins/cussing.gif I only go out there once a year, so I never remember which way to go, but usually follow the beats and/or signs.
Unfortunately there was a drum circle going on so the beats were not to be heard, and I couldn't find a sign. People all along the way were asking us which way to go and we had no idea.
We all ended up at a friend's house eatin chicken and smoking a spliff.
Even tried to call folk ... called Porterhouse who was still recovering from taking Jamie 3:26 to Shelter last night, tried Donna Edwards (no answer - sista was probably in the middle of one of her patented dope-ass mixes). damn, Damn, DAMN!
I know y'all did it right, 'cause ya always do. Reports please?

The party was very very nice!
Too bad lots of folks arrived kinda late. Even when Timmy played around 3:30, few people were dancing, or even there. But, by the time Kim Lightfoot took over the place was jammin'! Also, a very nice performance by Wunmi, accompanied by fantastic dancing, including Shalewa on the stage.
Many DHP people in the place, and from all over this continent too. It was lotsa fun for me--although I could barely stand from exhasution (having arrived at the Shelter at 9 am straight from Philly).
Big ups to liL Ray--the food was great too.
