my school has logic on their computers but have no idea how to use it. i just want to create loops within the song...

any tips?

or should i switch to a simpler program.

Sonic Foundry Acid is good for loops or you could use Sound Forge

An easy straight forward program is Audacity,and its free .You just highlight the section that you want and add the repeat effect .

There are better programs out there , but Id say Audacity is the simplest.
